In his teenage years, Mark developed a passion for the Amazon and, after earning a degree in Latin American Literature from Bennington College (Vermont), he eventually made his way to Manaus, Brazil in pursuit of a dream
Since 1992 Mark and his Brazilian wife and partner, Tania, have worked to provide travelers of all ages, abilities and budgets with the best in Amazon touring, combining classic Amazon riverboats, top level professional guides, and access to the flora, fauna and culture of the region in an experience second to none.
